Nakon uspeha prve regionalne konferencije o industrijskoj energetici Društvo Termičara zajedno sa Srpskom agencijom za energetsku efikasnost, odlučilo je da konferenciju učini tradicionalnom, pa se ona shodno toj odluci 2010. godine organizuje po drugi put.

Druga regionalna konferencija: „Industrijska energetika i zaštita životne sredine u zemljama Jugoistočne Evrope” održaće se od 22. do 26. juna 2010. godine.

2008. godine na IEEP-u 2008 istaknut je značaj energetske efikasnosti polazeći od sledećih činjenica:

- Industrije zemalja Jugoistočne Evrope imale su i još uvek imaju slične probleme kada se govori o energetskoj efikasnosti i zaštiti životne sredine
- Učešće potrošnje energije u ukupnim troškovima preduzeća je i dalje veliko i svaka ušteda u ovoj oblasti se direktno odražava na ukupnu produktivnost preduzeća
- Konkurentnost energetski neefikasnih preduzeća sa zastarelim industrijskim postrojenjima postala je ozbiljan problem
- Neophodno je preduzeti energične mere kako bi se stanje energetske efikasnosti u industriji poboljšalo

Ciljevi konferencije IEEP-a 2010 isti su kao i prethodne godine:

- Sagledavanje postojeće prakse u tehničkom, tehnološkom i upravljačkom pogledu
- Analiza aktuelnih problema sa osvrtom na postojeću pravnu i tehničku regulativu u pojedinim sredinama u poređenju sa Evropskim uslovima
- Pogled u budućnost - Pravci razvoja industrijske energetike sa osvrtom na najnovije smernice Evropske komisije
- Najnoviji projekti u oblasti smanjenja potrošnje energije u industriji
- Donošenje novih zaključaka Konferencije

2nd Regional Conference Industrial Energy and Environmental Protection
in South Eastern European Countries

After the success of the first regional conference on industry energy the Society of Thermal Engineers together with Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic of Serbia have brought a decision to organize this conference for a second time in June 2010.

The 2nd Regional Conference “Industrial Energy and the Environmental Protection in the Southeast European Countries” will be held from 22-26 June 2010. Subjects included in this year’s conference remain the same as those of the previous one, as their actuality remains the same.

In June 2008, on Zlatibor, the significance of the energy efficiency is emphasized through the following facts:

- The industries of South-Eastern European Countries have had and still have similar problems in terms of energy efficiency and environmental protection
- The scope of the energy consumption in total expenditure of enterprises is still huge and any savings in this area are directly reflected in the total productivity of enterprises
- The enterprises that suffer from energy inefficiency and enterprises with outdated industrial machinery have become a major problem in terms of competition
- It is necessary to take more active approach, so that the state of energy efficiency in industry would improve

The goals of the conference are the same as of the previous year:

• Evaluation of the existent practice from the technological and managerial point of view
• Analysis of the current problems with the consideration of existent legal and technical regulations in the specific areas in comparison to EU
• View to the future. Directions for development of industrial energy with consideration of European Commission directives
• The newest projects in the area of energy consumption decrease in industry
• Publishing new conference conclusions
